Our Skip Aound the World series ran for three weeks in October and was a huge success. Some children were unable to skip at the beginning of the programme and became very confident skippers by the end of the three weeks. Each class skipped for ten minutes each day and each skip counted for 1km in our trip around the world. The whole school managed to skip around the world twice with nearly 200,000 skips in total. It was a very enjoyable challenge and some classes have continued their skipping in their P.E lessons and movement breaks. We look forward to our next Active schools challenge in the New Year.
