Mullingar Voices Performance

13th Feb 2023

4th Class recently wowed us with a fantastic performance as part of "Mullingar Voices" in association with the Arts Centre. Preparations were ongoing throughout term one as the class learned a variety of songs by local artists which they then performed on stage. The show also included performances from other local schools, singers and musicians and it was certainly a night to remember. The hard work and dedication shown by 4th class throughout the term certainly paid off and their rendition of "Bear Claws" by the Academic, "In Loneliness Lives Love" by Cronin and " Starry Sea" by Maedhbh Hughes went down a storm with the audience. The finale of "Good Bye Venice" by Joe Dolan was a fitting end to a fantastic night's entertainment. 4th Class thoroughly enjoyed their first taste of the stage and are already looking forward to their next opportunity to perform.
