Bugs, Bees & Native Trees

2nd Nov 2021

"Bugs, Bees & Native Trees" are an All-Island climate action organisation set up to support young people and concerned citizens on the island of Ireland to address issues of the environment, biodiversity and climate change through tree planting and environmental community initiatives. They aim to tackle the issues of the environment, biodiversity and climate change, on a national scale and in a practical way, through tree planting and other environmental projects. We were delighted to be given the opportunity to play our part in helping achieve these aims by planting native trees on our schools grounds. We appreciated the help we received from Dr. David Mulcahy and his team at "Bugs, Bees & Native Trees". We look forward to watching our trees grow and we also hope that they will encourage other flora and fauna, pollinating insects (bugs and bees) and other wildlife to thrive in the same area.
